A Quantity field can be used when you want to collect data that is a whole number. For example, you can create a quantity field to keep track of the number of products sold. You also have the option choose to Enforce value range to set a min and/or max amount that a user can enter into the field.
Users will be presented with an error if they enter a value that is not a whole number.
