Using the Supplier process can complement the existing Supplier page in RPM. Processes provide more flexibility and by creating the Supplier process, it can act like a hub that contains all your Supplier information. It can be used to keep track of multiple contacts, type of Supplier, Products available, and keep additional notes about them.
Having Supplier data in another Process would also mean having to update data in two different places. Data would not automatically sync with any changes made in one place or the other. To address this, we created an API integration called Workflow Extender. This integration would sync your Supplier Page with the Supplier Process allowing you to manage your Supplier from either page.
